This flow restrictor is for Saginaw P-style steering pumps, commonly called “canned ham” pumps or Saginaw Type 1 pumps. This is also compatible with N-style pumps, which are P pumps that use a remote reservoir. Turn One restrictor fittings are precision CNC-machined in the USA at our factory in Michigan. Our flow restrictors come standard with a 1.3, 2.0, 2.5, or 3.0 gpm flow rate options for a wide variety of steering gear applications. Additional flow rates are available if needed, but please call to order. A properly matched flow rate between the power steering pump and steering gear improves driver feel, road feedback, and steering sensitivity.

NOTE: This fitting is not directly compatible with pre-1982 stock GM compression-style hose ends (flared fittings). There are, however, adapters on the market that will convert the o-ring restrictor to work with compression hoses. These must be purchased separately.
