Not all Type 2 power steering pumps are created equally, and non-OEM pumps often use different housing tolerances and dimensions. One difference is the thread pitch of the flow restrictor fitting. This flow restrictor is designed to match the exact threading of non-OEM pumps to ensure the best fit and seal performance.

Turn One flow restrictors are precision CNC-machined in the USA at our facility in Michigan. Our fittings can be sized to fit any steering box or rack and pinion application. Various flow rate options will match a wide variety of stock GM steering system requirements, as well as restricted flow rates for Mazda, Nissan, and Mustang II rack applications. A properly matched flow rate between the power steering pump and steering gear improves driver feel, road feedback, and steering sensitivity. Custom flow rates are available via phone ordering.
