This retrofit column is specifically designed to fit your 1960-66 Chevy Truck and does NOT require modification to your original vehicle to install. Install your new column in place of the old using your original dash mount and floor mount. With an adaptor, add an aftermarket wheel and the gripping surface of the new wheel will be in the same location as the original. Column comes standard with 8-position tilt, self-canceling turn signals, 4-way flashers, knobs & levers, 3 7/8" wiring plug, wiring harness adaptor and a 3/4" 36 lower shaft.

Notes:

-Column are shortened ONLY outside the firewall.  This is to give the steering shaft an easier route to the steering rack.  These can also be used with a steering box to give the upper control arm more room for travel.
