If you are going to be using an EFI system, then you will need to have an intake air temperature sensor.  

This is a genuine AC Delco sensor typically found on Gen 3 LS engine applications.  This is the sensor that we always use and have great luck with.  For best luck, install in the air intake tube, roughly 6" from the throttle body.  If you are using a 14" round air cleaner, this can be installed in the base of the air cleaner for a clean hidden look.
